Ram Charan about Acharya co-star Pooja Hegde: She is a social media queen

Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde will be seen together in Acharya, which has Chiranjeevi in the lead

Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is only a day away from its big release and the movie’s stars are busy promoting it. Ram Charan has now called his co-star Pooja Hegde a social media queen.

In a recent media interaction, Ram Charan heaped praise for Hegde, talking about the influence her recent songs have had on social media platforms.

"Arabic Kuthu was all over the place. We were shooting and were waiting for the next shot to set up, and I saw boys and girls listening to Arabic Kuthu and Butta Bomma.” he said.

Charan added that the song constantly kept showing up on his reels and that he feels that she is a social media queen and good at what she does. He further added that whatever his co-star poster, makes an impact.

Pooja Hegde has been on the rise as a fan-favourite actor across industries recently. With her recent roles in movies such as Most Eligible Bachelor, Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam and Vijay’s Beast, the actor has increased her fanbase within different industries.

The actor has also worked in Hindi films such as Mohenjo Daro and Housefull 4 and is currently working on Rohit Shetty’s next, titled Cirkus and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead.

Pooja Hegde and Ram Charan will next be seen in director Koratala Siva’s highly-awaited action drama, Acharya, which stars megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The movie is expected to have a solid opening in the Telugu states and further elevate Pooja Hegde’s status as a leading lady.

She was last seen in Vijay’s Beast, which was helmed by Nelson. Though only receiving mixed reviews, Beast has already become one of the biggest releases in South India and has become a commercial success.
