Raktabeej: Poster and first looks dropped

Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, and Victor Banerjee’s first looks were revealed.

The upcoming film Raktabeej, produced by Windows Production, has the tagline: Pujoy Ebar Pujor Chobi (This Puja, here is a film on Puja). The film is directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy and its official poster was released on August 15. Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, and Victor Banerjee’s first looks were revealed.

The film is based on the infamous Khagragarh-blast in Burdwan, West Bengal. On October 2, 2014, during Durga Puja, a huge blast took place at a house in Burdwan. It created scare and terror and the state politics became agitated over the matter. The film deals with the story.

The poster shows our national flag. Abir, holding a pistol, and Mimi stand at each side of the flag. Victor stands in the middle. At the lower part of the poster, a crowd of masked people and an idol of Durga are seen.

The poster was shared and the following was written as the caption, “A group of brave people are walking. There are conspiracy cards at each step. On one side of the river, there is a dream of revolution, and on the other side, it is terror. Raktabeej is coming on October 19 in Bengali, Hindi, Assamese, and Odia languages.” The production house’s social media page further wrote, “Experience the ultimate saga of courage and conviction. Presented by Windows and Sanjay Agarwal, produced by Windows, Raktabeej is releasing on October 19 in four languages – Hindi, Bengali, Odia, and Assamese.”

This is the first film that was shot in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Social media stars Nandy Sisters, Antara and Ankita Nandy, sang for the film. The shooting is complete. This is the first thriller film made by Shiboprosad and Nandita.
