The film has Raj B Shetty, Rishab Shetty and Gopalkrishna Hegde in the lead.
So, the word is out – Rakshit Shetty will present Raj B Shetty’s next directorial Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana. The actor-filmmaker’s banner posted on social media, “Immensely proud as we announce this magnificient collaboration! #ParamvahPictures will present the compelling world of Shiva and Hari - 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐕𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚”, along with a poster of the film.
Earlier in the day, Rakshit had taken to social media to write, “Lucia, Rama Rama Re, Rangitaranga, Ondu Motteya Kathe, Kavaludaari, Dia…a few films which excited me so much that I wanted to shout out to the world that new-age Kannada cinema is here. The announcement that is slated for today is a collaboration with one such film, which I watched during the recent lockdown. A film that is truly a masterpiece. A film which pulled me into its depths and soaked me in its world; by the time I realised how much it had affected me, two days had passed. After the announcement, this film will be mine, and probably, it won’t be right to post this later. But you will get to witness some of the finest performances and beautiful story-telling that has been packed in an epic. I trust you all will cherish it for a long, long time. Announcement at 4.05 PM today.”
In fact, after Rakshit’s online note, fans of the actor-filmmaker had been speculating about which film it could possibly be and several actually got it right in predicting it would be Raj’s film. Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana has Raj, Gopalkrishna Hegde and Rishab Shetty in the lead and is set in the Karavali region. While Rakshit’s banner will present the film to audiences and scale up distribution, they are also backing the making of Anant Nag’s next, Abracadabra. Their next big release is Rakshit’s 777 Charlie, which will be out at the end of the year.
