Rakshit Atluri, the actor who garnered applause for his wonderful performance in Palasa 1978, and actress Komalee Prasad, are pairing up for a romantic entertainer titled Sasivadane. The film, written and directed by Saimohan Ubbana, is produced by Ahiteja Bellamkonda, marking the collaboration between SVS Constructions Pvt. Ltd. and AG Film Company. The concept teaser of the upcoming film shot amidst a rural backdrop, featuring the voices of Rangasthalam Mahesh and Rakshit, was unveiled today.
The concept teaser commences with the hero's friend sarcastically remarking about how it's an uphill task to marry the love of his life. In response, the character played by Rakshit adds that love is a feeling that doesn't take aspects like caste and economic status into consideration. Be ready to wage a war for someone you love, the character ambitiously says. The teaser unfolds in a scenic village and also has a BR Ambedkar quote on the wall that reads, "You can't achieve anything fruitful based on caste, neither a just society nor justice."
Sasivadane's shoot is set to commence in October. The producer Ahiteja Bellamkonda calls the film 'a meaningful, beautiful love story'. Saikumar Dara is on board as a cinematographer, while Sharavana Vasudevan will compose the music. Sripal Cholleti is the film's executive producer and Gouri Naidu is roped in for the costumes and presentation. The film's lead actress Komalee was previously seen in Napoleon, Anukunnadi Okkati Ayyandhi Okati and the web show Loser. She is also playing a key role in the college drama Rowdy Boys.
