Rajinikanth's Jailer decorates Times Square, fans go gaga over Sun Pictures' grand promotions

The booking for Jailer is set to begin tomorrow in Tamil Nadu and fans are delighted over the same. The film is poised to take a good opening in the state despite a ban issued on early morning shows. The booking has opened in other territories, though and the response is encouraging.

All eyes are on the day one collection of the movie. The action drama, starring Rajinikanth in the titular role, is riding on high expectations. This is the Superstar film that is carrying humongous hype among cinephiles after Petta.

Rajini might not be attending promotional events like how Kamal Haasan entertained the crowd during Vikram's release, but Sun Pictures, which has bankrolled Jailer, seems to be leaving no stone unturned. They have come up with a video that has the movie's trailer being screened at Times Square.

People are seen going gaga over the promo video, and this unexpected move from the production house has left fans of the star excited. They hope that similar promotional stunts will be created in other locations as well. For 2.0, the makers flew a hot air balloon featuring Rajini and Akshay's images over Hollywood.

Rajinikanth is someone who enjoys a huge following in Telugu states. Fans are eager to know if he would participate in the pre-release event in Hyderabad. The film will clash with Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar that will hit the screens on August 11.
