Fans expressed delight at these snapshots of Superstar Rajinikanth's intimate Deepavali celebrations with his family.
Superstar Rajinikanth marked the festival of lights, Deepavali, on Sunday surrounded by his family. He celebrated the festival by following all the traditional rituals along with his wife Latha, daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth and grandsons Yatra and Linga.
Aishwarya shared the photos from the celebrations and captioned it, "My Deepavali hope you all had a blessed."
Rajinikanth can be seen giving his grandsons festival presents and sharing a light moment with them outdoors. Aishwarya could also be seen applying turmeric and kungumam to her father's feet as part of festival rituals.

Fans have expressed delight looking at a few glimpses of how Rajinikanth and his family celebrated Deepavali.
On the occasion of the festival, Aishwarya also unveiled the teaser of her upcoming directorial debut, Lal Salaam. The movie stars Superstar Rajinikanth in a key cameo.
"Happy to unveil the teaser for "Lal Salaam," a captivating tale that explores life, sports, faith, and humanity. Directed by Aiswarya Rajnikanth, featuring a grand guest appearance by Superstar," Oscar-winner AR Rahman said, while sharing the teaser. Rahman has composed the score for Lal Salaam.
In Lal Salaam, Rajinikanth plays a Muslim leader named Moideen Bhai. Based on the teaser, the film seems to explore how the communal harmony in the country has been disturbed by religious animosity. It also seems to examine the far-reaching effects of mixing communal hatred in various facets of life, including sports.
Lal Salaam marks Aiswarya's maiden collaboration with Rajinikanth. She made her directorial debut in 2012 with 3, starring her now estranged husband Dhanush. In 2015, she helemed Vai Raja Vai.
Lal Salaam also marks her directorial comeback after a gap of eight years. She has written and directed the movie, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The movie also stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles.
