Rajinikanth sir wants to watch Chithha once he is back home, says Siddharth

It looks like Siddharth's latest outing Chithha has become the talk of the town, thanks to the word of mouth. The film has opened to fantastic reviews from the critics and audience, and is going steady at the box office. Now the latest we hear is that Rajinikanth has expressed his wish to watch the film.

The team of Chithha recently had a thanksgiving meet. Speaking on the occasion, Siddarth said that he was overwhelmed with the reception to the film. "When those people whom you have put on a pedestal talk about your film, you get a different kind of motivation altogether. We should not leave it here. We have realised the power of the voice of a filmmaker."
He added, " In fact, every day we feel like we are getting a new gift. Rajinikanth sir recently contacted us and said that he has been hearing a lot of good things about the film and that he wanted to watch it as soon as he returned home. This is really big. Rajinikanth was aware of my film and expressed his wish to watch it. The film has been making such things happen in a very casual manner." It is to be noted that the Superstar is currently in Trivandrum shooting for Thalaivar 170.

Siddharth says he fell in love with the story the minute he listened to it
Speaking at the meet, the Chithha actor said, "This is a moment of great happiness. We are glad to have made such a good and successful film as well. This is not a one size fits all story. We made this film because of its story. The moment I heard the story, I fell in love with the film and had utmost confidence in inArun Kumar. Many people asked me if I had made the film for a good cause. I didn't think of all that. If something good happens because of the film, great. It's a story about an uncle and neice and how they overcome a problem together."
