Bigg Boss 18 took a wild twist at the grand finale when two unexpected things unfolded one after the other. Rajat Dalal, who was going strong as the winner according to the voting trends, was out as the second runner-up. Soon after, Karan Veer Mehra picked up the trophy and became the winner, defeating Bigg Boss 18's 'laadla' Vivian Dsena. Rajat has now responded to the shocker that came with him getting out and whether his friend-supporter Elvish Yadav is to be blamed for it. Here's what he said...

Rajat Dalal agrees that Elvish Yadav might have spoiled his Bigg Boss 18 game, but...

"If someone is talking about phone giveaway, it was our 'kubat' (wrong-doing) at first," Rajat accepted. He also agreed that Elvish could have come into the picture and spoiled his game, but according to Rajat, it is all hearsay and he doesn't wish to listen to that. "It's up to you, whatever you think," he told Telly Talk in his interview.

Rajat Dalal wants bygones to be bygones

Things were out of Rajat Dalal's control when he was inside the house. Elvish Yadav's announcement for iPhone takeaways (read bribe) was not something he was aware of or could do anything much about when Rajat was trying to win the show as a contestant and strong contender to top 5 finalists Karan Veer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang and Eisha Singh. "Ab jo ho gaya so ho gaya, uska kuch nahi kar sakte," Rajat said, explaining how things were out of his control.

Elvish Yadav's attempt in trying to make Rajat Dalal Bigg Boss 18 winner

In an attempt to get Rajat Dalal to win Bigg Boss 18, Elvish Yadav offered Elvish Army 101 iPhones, which amounted to Rs. 1.5 crores in total. Of course, the deal was that the iPhones would be sent to the winners only if Rajat wins, which did not happen. It is interesting to note that the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was also a part of the grand finale, but to promote another show, Celebrity Chefs.
