Raj & DK's Guns and Gulaabs to stream on Netflix, here's all you need to know about the series

Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK, generally known as Raj & DK, have an excellent resume of films and television programs to their credit. The highly gifted writer-director team has an amazing body of work, and they'll be kicking off their Netflix creative cooperation with the hilarious series Guns & Gulaabs which will be produced by D2R Films.

Guns & Gulaabs is a story about love and innocence set in a world of crime, inspired by the world's misfits. The project is designed to combine a romance from the 1990s with a crime thriller, all while maintaining a sense of humour.

In a statement, Raj and DK said that Netflix has always been a forerunner in terms of content, providing cutting-edge programming on a regular basis. Now, they are excited to be working with them on their latest project! Cinema Bandi, their independent gem, had a fantastic run on Netflix last year, and now on their first Netflix series, Guns & Gulaabs Raj and DK are looking forward to a wider cooperation. They are extremely excited to release this wild genre mash with some of the country's best talent and crew.

Meanwhile, Tanya Bami, the Series Head of Netflix India, shared that she is ecstatic to collaborate with the best creators, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, on Guns and Gulaabs which she says is as unique as their creative voices. She added that Raj and DK bring their unique storytelling style to Netflix with Guns & Gulaabs, which will captivate fans in India and throughout the world. Talking about the series, Bami added that it blends romance, criminality, and the duo's inimitable comedy.

The Guns and Gulaabs script is penned by Suman Kumar, Raj & DK, and Sumit Arora.

Meanwhile, reports have it that Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, and Adarsh Gourav will be featuring in the series.
