The world of Raid, starring Ajay Devgn, was expanded as the makers announced its continuation with Raid 2. The sequel to the Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz-led movie was set in motion, with Raj Kumar Gupta returning to direct. The actors had been working on the film for a long time, and it soon became one of the most anticipated movies of the year. However, the release of the movie was pushed from November 2024 to May 2025, leaving fans eagerly waiting. Now, as we are almost in April, Raid 2 is not that far away. The makers have shared the first-look poster of the film. Read on to know everything you should about it.

The first-look poster of Ajay Devgn as Amay Patnaik, making a thrilling return to hunt down his next target, was released today. Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. Raj Kumar Gupta on Raid 2

In an exclusive chat, when asked about Raid 2 and the direction the movie takes, Raj Kumar Gupta was quick to say, "I cannot tell you where the story is going right now. That is something we will talk about when we meet before the release. I can tell you that the movie is currently in the editing stage. We have wrapped up filming, and right now, we are in the process of editing it. So, for now, that’s all I can share about Raid 2."

Talking about Ajay Devgn, we discussed how the star was shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid 2 around the same time. When asked if he ever had to remind the actor that he was on the Raid set and not Singham.

Gupta replied, "No, yaa, this never happens. Since the first Raid, I have realized he is a very intelligent actor, and he knows exactly what kind of film he is doing. He is always in character, regardless of the role he is playing. He is someone who is always prepared on set. He is well aware of the film, the surroundings, the milieu of the movie, and more."
