Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence seems to be on a signing spree . He recently announced that he will join hands with director Veetrimaaran for a project titled Adhigaram, which is Tamil for power.
Lawrence expressed his excitement about the project saying he was mightly impressed by Veetrimaaran's narration.
"Hi friends and fans, I’m blown away after the narration from Vetri Maaran Sir of adhigaram’s shooting script. I’m extremely happy and excited that I got an opportunity to work on a grandiose film written by Vetri Maran sir. I can't wait to start working on this project after the two projects I announced earlier. My Heartfelt thanks to Vetri Maran sir for giving me this wonderful script, It was worth all the wait and I’d like to thank Producer @kathiresan_offl sir for making this happen. I Need all your blessings," said Lawrence in a statement.

According to reports, Veetrimaaran has penned the story and screenplay for Adhigaram, while it will be helmed by another director. The filmmakers have not confirmed their pick for director yet.
Veetrimaaran has his hands full for the next few years. He's now busy with the Viduthalai Part 2. The film's post-production work is ongoing and is expected to hit the screens after the Lok Sabha elections this year.

Veetrimaaran recently confirmed that following the release of Viduthalai 2, he will start the production of Vaadivaasal. Based on a novel of the same name, the film is said to revolve around Tamil Nadu's beloved traditional sport of bull-taming. The film delves deep into its history, culture and socio-political impacts. The film will star Tamil superstar Suriya in the lead role.
