The audio launch of Chandramukhi 2 happened in a college in Chennai a couple of days ago. The movie's cast and crew were present at the event which turned out to be an entertaining fare for the team. The crew members spoke about their experiences at the do.

Among all, the speech delivered by Vadivelu and producer Subaskaran turned heads and enthralled movie buffs. While the former spoke with witty one-liners, the latter came up with an update on his forthcoming project Vidaa Muyarchi.
Students attacked by bouncers at the event
The downside of the event was the manhandling of a few college students by bouncers. Raghava Lawrence, who plays the lead in the movie, has now taken to Twitter to apologize to the students. He clarified that neither he nor the organizers were aware of the brawl that happened outside the venue.
He added that he has always been someone who loves students and encourages their growth. Lawrence condemned the fight between students and bouncers and requested the latter not to be involved in such activities in the future. "I always wish there should be happiness & peace everywhere we go," he further said.
A spiritual sequel
Chandramukhi 2, which is billed as a horror drama, is releasing in five languages on September 15. The movie is a spiritual sequel to Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi which was released in 2005. Both the projects are helmed by P Vasu, who is making a comeback to Tamil after a short hiatus.
Kangana Ranaut, Radhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar and Ravi Mariya among others essay pivotal characters in the movie. RD Rajasekhar has cranked the camera for the film which has editing by Anthony and art direction by Thota Tharani.
