The directing duo of Pushkar–Gayathri have wrapped production of the remake of their hit Tamil film, Vikram Vedha.
Vikram Vedha starring Vijay Sethupathi and R. Madhavan came out in 2017 and became a success and won the hearts of the fans. The movie’s Hindi remake of the same name, helmed by the directing duo of Pushkar-Gayathri, has already wrapped filming. Actor Radhika Apte, who plays an important role in the movie, has now shared her experience of working with her co-stars in the remake.
Talking to India Today, Apte said, "I have finished my shoot for Vikram Vedha. This is Saif and my third project together. I love working with him, I find him very funny. I am only laughing on the sets.’
She also added that the directors Pushkar–Gayathri were also nice to work with and revealed that she cried after filming.
Talking about working with Hrithik Roshan, she said that though she does not have a lot of scenes with him, it was lovely. She added that they talked about things and that she had a great time with Roshan as well.
Radhika Apte has previously worked with Saif Ali Khan in Baazaar and the highly popular web show Sacred Games. Vikram Vedha is the third time the two actors are teaming up.
Vikram Vedha is a neo-noir action thriller, where Roshan will play an infamous gangster and Saif plays the cop who is chasing after him. The makers recently confirmed that the movie has wrapped its production and is scheduled to hit theatres on September 30, 2022.
Apte was last seen in Raat Akeli Hai and is also awaiting the release of the crime thriller Forensic co-starring Vikrant Massey. The movie is the remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name starring Tovino Thomas.
