Radhe Shyam: Crowds throng astrology corners installed across Indian cinema halls to promote the Prabhas, Pooja Hegde starrer

The excitement's catching up as the much awaited Prabhas, Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam is gearing up for a grand release later this weekend. The film, written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, has consistently hogged the headlines for its innovative promotional strategy over the last weekend and the team's latest move too is sure to take you by surprise. Radhe Shyam is be the first ever Indian movie for which Astrology Corner has been installed in cinema halls across the country.

The makers say that the 'Astrology Corners' has now met with a terrific response from crowds in cinema halls, who've been coming in a huge numbers to talk to astrologers and dig deep into their future. Radhe Shyam's team has been on a promotional blitzkreig over the past week, spreading the word about the film in every nook and corner of the country. They had even launched a making video and a release trailer to throw light on what went behind its making too.

For the uninitiated, Radhe Shyam's pivotal character Vikramaditya, played by Prabhas, is a palmist, who falls in love with a doctor Prerana. The film, set in the 1970s Europe, has been labelled as a war between destiny and love. Only a handful of movies in the past has explored a similar idea based on destiny and love and from what the promos suggest, Radhe Shyam promises to be a visual feast for audiences. In terms of promotions, this is the first Indian movie for which Astrology corners were installed as part of the promotional strategy.

Amitabh Bachchan and SS Rajamouli have given voiceovers for the film across the Hindi and Telugu versions. The film is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. Radhe Shyam has been extensively shot in Italy, Georgia and Hyderabad over the last 3 years. The romance is produced by Vamsi, Pramod and Bhushan Kumar under UV Creations and T-Series.
