Love Mocktail 2 girl Rachel David continues attract interesting project as she signs yet another romantic comedy. According to the latest reports, Rachel has been roped in to play the lead opposite young actor Milind in Deepak Madhuvanalli’s next: although the makers of the untitled project are yet to confirm her inclusion, one can expect an official word on the same to made soon, along with the first look and title.
The same reports reveal that the story of the rom-com project has been conceived and written by Man of the Match and Rama Rama Re... director D. Satya Prakash, who has also penned the dialogues of the film and co-written the screenplay with Deepak Madhuvanalli. The film, co-produced by Satya Prakash along with Manjunatha D, is said to be about a 500-year-old antique and the makers plan on taking it on floors by the end of July in Chitradurga.
Senior actors Ramesh Bhat and Sadhu Kokila too are reportedly part of the film with J. Anoop Seelin scoring the music.
This would be the first on-screen collaboration between Milind and Rachel David. Milind began his acting career in 2019 with the Sringeri Suresh film Weekend, co-starring Anant Nag and Nagabhushana.
Having made her acting in Malayalam cinema with Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu (opposite Pranav Mohanlal), the upcoming Deepak Madhuvanalli film would be Rachel David’s fourth Kannada film. She was brought onboard the Pramod-Pruthvi Ambaar project which shall be helmed Girish Mulimane: titled Bhuvanam Gaganam the film went on floors earlier this month. Reportedly, she plays a bubbly girl in the film who has grown up studying at a boarding school.

Alongside, Rachel will be seen in the gangster flick titled Country Made opposite Gantumoote actor Nishchith Korodi. She will be soon making her Tamil debut with the film Walking/Talking Strawberry Ice Cream (produced by Vignesh Sivan and Nayanthara).
