Recently, Eskay Movies announced eighteen new films and their posters came out. The film Rabindra Kabya Rohosyo, starring Ritwik Chakraborty, Priyangshu Chatterjee, and Srabanti Chatterjee, is one of them. The film, billed as a thriller, delves into a mysterious propaganda that maligns Tagore’s image.

Tagore is related to Bengali emotions and dealt with human feelings in his literature. But did the poet not want India’s independence? Ritwik and Srabanti want to find the answer. Can they solve the mystery? The film, directed by Sayantan Ghosal, will answer that.

Priyanshu Chatterjee will be seen as Tagore in the film. The poster shows Tagore at the top. Then a stack of books. Ritwik and Srabanti stand below the books.

In the motion poster, a background voice says, “Did Rabindranath Tagore not want our country’s independence?” Ritwik’s voice replies, “There is so much propaganda against Tagore. We must resist this.” Eskay Movies shared the poster and wrote in the caption, “Was the national poet our country’s enemy?”

Rabindra Kabya Rahasya is a contemporary murder mystery that has a connection to a 100-year-old serial killing case. Every murder in the film has some connection with Rabindranath Tagore. Ritwick Chakraborty, who plays the character of a crime thriller writer goes to London to help the police to solve a murder. There he meets Srabanti, who is a Rabindrasangeet singer.

Rajnandini Pal and Rwitobroto Mukherjee will also play important roles in the film. Ritwik plays Avik, a poet who is interested in solving mysteries. Srabanti plays Hiya, a singer of Tagore’s songs. Hiya goes to London to sing, and Avik also goes there to investigate a murder. The mystery starts from there.
