Raayan, Dhanush's latest film, is now on OTT. The film is streaming on Prime Video. Written and directed by Dhanush, who has also starred in the lead role, the film has music by AR Rahman, which is one of the standout highlights of the movie. Many on social media have been praising the film for its music.
Raayan on OTT: AR Rahman receives more praise
Raayan is a gangster action drama by Dhanush. After its theatrical run, the film is now available for streaming on Prime Video. While it is normal for the film to get polarising reviews upon its OTT debut, AR Rahman's work in the film has been getting a good response unanimously on social media.
It is to be noted that even at the time of the film’s theatrical release, and even as Raayan had been getting mixed reviews with some praising and others not finding it very fulfilling, AR Rahman’s music was appreciated. Raayan is set in the suburbs of north Chennai, and revolves around three brothers and their little sister. As they run a food truck, one of the brothers gets embroiled in a scuffle leading him to kill the local gangster’s son. This causes a chain of events that leads to the brothers getting pulled into a world of violence and deceit.

Dhanush plays the titular character, along with a cast that comprises Dushara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan, Saravanan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others. Raayan is backed by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
