Raavana Kottam on Amazon Prime and aha Tamil: Shanthnu requests audience to give honest feedback

Vikram Sugumaran's Raavana Kottam, which hit screens a month ago, had opened to mixed response from critics and moviegoers. The film is getting ready for its digital premiere on two popular platforms on the same day, something which is rare for a project which did not create a big impact at the box office.

The rural drama will start streaming on both Amazon Prime and aha Tamil tonight. Shanthnu, who played the lead in the film, is excited about the same and has appeared in a video to request cinephiles to watch it if they have missed it in movie halls.

He says that he had a memorable experience working for Raavana Kottam and that he could explore a new dimension as an actor. The actor also added that the manner in which the production of the movie happened taught him several things about life.

The Master actor confessed that he is aware of the ground reality with regard to the film's performance at the box office. "It received mixed reactions initially, but there were people who really loved it. I was happy that my performance received a unanimous positive response," he said.

Quite thankful towards those who showered praise on his efforts for the movie, he said that Raavana Kottam is a step towards positivity in his career. "I work hard for all my projects. But in this film, I had put in extra effort. Please watch the film on Amazon Prime and aha Tamil and do give your honest feedback," he added.

The actor has also promised that both positive and negative feedback will be handled positively. Prabhu, Anandhi and Ilavarasu among others essay pivotal roles in the project.
