Anjali Anand will be seen in Sumeet Vyas' upcoming web series, Raat Jawaan Hai. The actress recently opened up about playing the role of Radhika in the SonyLIV show.

Sumeet Vyas has donned the director's hat for his upcoming web series, Raat Jawaan Hai. Starring Barun Sobti, Anjali Anand, and Priya Bapat, this show is a tale about three friends who navigate the joy and complexities of parenthood while managing time for friendship commitments. A few days ago, SonyLIV dropped the official trailer of Raat Jawaan Hai. And now, Anjali has shared her experience of portraying Radhika's character in the series.

In Raat Jawaan Hai, Anjali Anand will be seen as Radhika who balances motherhood, friendship, and marriage. Her character's journey will highlight her strength, vulnerability, and hidden emotional struggles. Speaking about essaying this role, Anjali said, "Radhika isn’t exactly like me, but I see aspects of her that I aspire to embody."

The actress added portraying this character allowed her to showcase a different side of herself. Anjali revealed she admires Radhika's confidence and the ability to speak her mind. "I definitely aspire to be more like Radhika in real life. Furthermore, the positive energy on set and the incredible support from everyone made it easier to portray her effortlessly. It has truly been an unforgettable experience," mentioned Anand.

The series is centered around Radhika, Avinash (Barun Sobti), and Suman's (Priya Bapat) friendship. As for Anjali, the actress' character remains the anchor that keeps their friendship together despite her self-perceived flaws.

When and where to watch Raat Jawaan Hai?

Directed by Sumeet Vyas, Raat Jawaan Hai is scheduled to premiere on October 11 on SonyLIV. The series will be also available for streaming with your OTTplay Premium subscription. The series has been written and created by Khyati Anand-Puthran. On the other hand, Vicky Vijay has backed Raat Jawaan Hai under the banner of Yamini Pictures Pvt Ltd.
