The legendary actor turned 70 this week and is still going strong as a top-billed star in Hollywood,
Michael Keaton became a household name after collaborating with Tim Burton in three universally acclaimed films between the late 80s and early 90s. Two of those films were Batman and Batman Returns in which he played the iconic Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film reimagined the caped crusader from the comical and cheesy iteration by Adam West in the 60s, to the dark and serious character we know today - more in tune with Frank Miller’s version from the late 80s. Keaton has since gone onto act in several films and TV shows including critically acclaimed movies such as Birdman, Spotlight, Much Ado About Nothing, Spider-man: Homecoming, Live from Baghdad, and The Trial of Chicago 7. He is set to don the cape and cowl yet again as Batman in the upcoming film, The Flash, as part of a multiverse crossover.
