It was all not rosy for Allu Arjun's first pan-Indian film Pushpa The Rise, even 10 days before the release, until which the filming was going on at a record speed. The film, made at a sum well over Rs 150 crores, faced multiple breaks owing to the pandemic and wasn't even left with a week's time for promotions across five languages. While they did tour across multiple states over five days, the director Sukumar had time to talk to the local press only a night before the film hit theatres.

And when Pushpa The Rise eventually hit theatres, it didn't receive glowing reviews and most critics called it an underwhelming collaboration between Allu Arjun and Sukumar, who came up with Arya and Arya 2 in the past. There was an undeniable nervous tension. However, the scenario at the theatres was quite contrasting. The packed halls had a celebratory vibe to them, there were whistles, audiences jumping and shouting with excitement. Even beyond the first weekend, the film had the legs to sustain its victorious march in not one but five languages for more than five weeks now.

As per the latest update, the Hindi version of Pushpa The Rise has minted Rs 65.69 crore and has emerged the popular choice of moviegoers across most single screens in the Hindi-speaking belts. It wouldn't be surprising to see it go past the Rs 75 crore mark this week and given there's not much competition for the film in the coming weeks, breaching past the Rs 100 crore mark too can't be termed impossible (unless the film releases on OTT early).

By the end of Monday, the actioner garnered a share of more than Rs 100 crore in Telugu states, while it collected a handsome Rs 25 crore gross in Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, Pushpa has turned out to be the highest-grossing dubbed film of 2021, earning Rs 13.8 crore in gross. In USA, the share has moved past the $2.5 million mark. Back home in Hyderabad, the film's collections in the RTC Cross Roads area, Hyderabad are Rs 1.73 crore. As per a report by idlebrain.com, the film will move ahead of Sarileru Neekevvaru's tally of Rs 1.76 crore in the same area shortly.

On the online ticketing platform BookMyShow too, a record-breaking 5 million tickets of Pushpa The Rise have been sold. That's not all about Pushpa The Rise's juggernaut. All the songs from the Devi Sri Prasad-composed album found a place in the list of Top 100 Global Songs on YouTube. At No.1 and 2 in this list are Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava and Saami Saami. Srivalli stands at the 24th position, whereas Dakko Dakko Meka and Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda are at 74th and 97th positions respectively. Is there any record that Pushpa The Rise can't break?
