Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who has been making headlines for the first look poster of Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 expressed her gratitude to the audience for their love. Sharing insights about her first multi-lingual pan India film, she added that she got a chance to explore a different side of herself.

The first look poster of the actor released recently, features her in an intense avatar with a raw and rustic look, wearing a yellow saree. A bunch of flowers are also seen by her side in the thoughtful poster. The actor received wider acclaims and compliments for her never-seen-before appearance, and it has also gone viral. She revealed to Manorama about this and said that though she was nervous and excited, now she feels glad about it.

Rashmika also believes that the movie is going to make her establish a milestone and she seems eager for the audience to witness her character Srivalli, who is the soul of the movie.

Pushpa which is helmed by Sukumar, is an action thriller based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh. The movie has Allu Arjun playing the titular role alongside the Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil, who is making his Telugu Debut. Under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, the film is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, in association with Muttamsetty Media.

The first instalment of the two-part film is gearing up for a release on December 17, 2021, and the second part in 2022. The film will be released in Telugu along with the dubbed versions in four other languages including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
