Pushpa: Anasuya Bharadwaj looks fierce as Dakshayani in new character poster

Directed by Sukumar, the movie has Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles

Allu Arjun’s upcoming action thriller has fans across South India looking out for every announcement and update from the movie. The latest update from the makers is a poster revealing Anasuya Bharadwaj’s character from the movie.

The official social media handle of Pushpa and Mythri Movie Makers, who are the makers of the movie, have shared the poster through social media.

The poster that comes with the caption “She is arrogance and pride personified.'' on Twitter, features Bharadwaj looking fierce, menacing and overall powerful in the poster.

Named Dakshayani, she is seen giving a deadly stare and looks like she is using a nutcracker with her hands.

She looks dressed in expensive clothes and has a lot of gold ornaments across her body, hinting at a rich character who is also powerful in the world the movie is set in.

Directed by Sukumar, the movie is an action thriller that is based on the red sanders smuggling in the regions of Andhra Pradesh. The movie will be coming out in two parts and the first part is titled Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1.

While Allu Arjun takes the lead in the movie, Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Sunil among others.

Ace music director DSP has composed the music for the movie and the songs that have been released so far have all been getting positive response from the fans.

The pan-Indian movie will release across the country in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.
