After Baahubali and KGF, we have yet another second instalment of a film that audiences are waiting with bated breath. No surprises there, we’re talking Pushpa 2 a.k.a Pushpa The Rule, the sequel to the Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer, directed by Sukumar. The film’s shoot commenced recently and is gearing up for an early 2024 release, if reports are to be believed.

A leadup to the promo of the film titled ‘Where Is Pushpa?’ where doubts are raised about Pushpa’s whereabouts, as he flees from Tirupathi jail, was released earlier this week. The full-fledged glimpse of the action entertainer, offering a peek into the film’s world, was launched today. It is everything that the average buff is waiting for - a cracker of a sequel with a dash of thrill, action and crime.

In the latest glimpse, there’s immense curiosity around Pushpa, who’s nowhere to be found in the public eye. There are violent protests across the country where his followers are eager to know his whereabouts and if he’s safe. The media is anxiously capturing the pulse of the state amidst the many rumours surrounding Pushpa. Some even proclaim, he’s not missing but dead.

There are blood stains in the path that he takes as he flees from jail. Some reports suggest he’s shifted base to an international location. The masses name him a messiah who has helped them in the need of the hour. Amidst all such claims, CCTV footage shows a tiger stepping back with the arrival of Pushpa (who does the trademark Thaggede Le around his beard).

His followers celebrate the fact that Pushpa is very much alive. He even sits cross-legged in a police station with arrogance and the twinkle in his eye is hard to miss. There are festive vibes all around as the glimpse ends and leaves us craving for more. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film also stars Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music.
