Pushpa 2/ Pushpa: The Rule has been ruling the box office for couple of weeks now and has already crossed collecting over Rs 1500 crore worldwide. With several reports suggesting that the film will be soon on Netflix, the makers confirmed that Pushpa 2 will not be on the OTT for streaming before 56 days.

Actor Allu Arjun headlined the 2024 Telugu film Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule, directed by Sukumar. The film has collected over Rs 1500 crore worldwide and has been creating smashing records as one of the biggest Indian films this year. While there are reports suggesting that the film's HD quality version has been leaked online, and the film will soon stream on its OTT partner Netflix, the makers quashed the rumours.

Mythri Movie Makers which bankrolled the film confirmed that Pushpa 2 will continue to run in theatres for the festive season. Given Christmas and New Years are upcoming, the production banner announced that the Allu Arjun-starrer will not be on OTT before 56 days. This means, Pushpa 2 will not be available before January 2025 end, and is most likely to make its streaming debut on or only after January 29.

Pushpa: The Rule, has performed extremely well at the box office and has collected Rs 1005 crore in India only during its 17-day run. In the worldwide collections, the film has already surpassed 1500 crore.

Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and others. A third part, titled Pushpa: The Rampage is in the making, with a release date yet to be announced. Pushpa 2 has music by Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. It is to be noted that even as the lead actor Allu Arjun was arrested and released over a stampede case, the film continued to have a successful streak at the box office.
