Pushpa 2 Kerala box office Day 7 collection: The mass action film, which marked the fourth onscreen collaboration of Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. However, things are different for Allu Arjun’s film at the Kerala box office, as it is yet to cross the Rs. 15 crore mark in the state. Pushpa 2: The Rule, however, is now set to surpass the lifetime collection of its prequel, Pushpa: The Rise, in the state.

Pushpa 2 to surpass lifetime collections of Pushpa: The Rise in Kerala

The blockbuster Allu Arjun starrer has witnessed a massive dip in its Kerala box office collections, after making a massive opening in the state. Pushpa 2: The Rule, which collected over Rs. 6.35 crore at the Kerala box office on its release day, made just around Rs. 75 lakh on Day 7 in the state. The Sukumar directorial, however, has finally crossed the Rs. 14 crore mark in the state within the first 7 days of its release.

If things proceed at the same rate, Pushpa 2: The Rule will finally cross the Rs. 15 crore mark at the Kerala box office, within the first 8 days of its release. In that case, Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s film will cross the lifetime collections of its prequel, Pushpa: The Rise very soon. For the uninitiated, the 2021-released blockbuster film made a lifetime collection of over Rs. 15 crore, within its lifetime run at the Kerala box office.

As per the reports, things have been getting tougher for the Sukumar directorial right from its first Monday at the theatres, owing to the underwhelming reviews. The Allu Arjun starrer needs to collect at least Rs. 60 crore to achieve breakeven in Kerala. However, while considering the current trends, Pushpa 2: The Rule has a very less chance to cross even the Rs. 20 crore mark in the state.
