Over the years, many have come close, and some even managed to touch it. But not as fast as the one that has been released in theatres now and is spreading like wildfire. Yes, we are talking about Pushpa 2: The Rule which is in theatres now and, by the end of Day 8, has achieved a massive feat and is now eyeing another. As per the latest numbers floating in, Pushpa 2 has managed to beat KGF: Chapter 2 by earning more than its lifetime collection at the Hindi Box Office, and this is a massive milestone to cross. The next is Baahubali 2.

Pushpa 2 Hindi Box Office Update

Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the leading roles, was one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and when it was finally released, it managed to break all records. It was yesterday when we learned that the film is over Rs 1000 crore strong worldwide and is the fastest Indian movie to earn Rs 1000 crore. So now, when the latest numbers come in, we are not surprised that the film has managed to beat KGF: Chapter 2's lifetime collection in just eight days, as the movie has now earned Rs 27.5 crore on the eighth day of release, as per Sacnilk.

The Hindi collection of Pushpa 2 now stands at a staggering Rs 435.5 crore in Hindi, which is ahead of KGF: Chapter 2 which earned Rs 434.62 crore in the Hindi circuit in its lifetime. Add to this, the movie is now just Rs 75 crore away from beating Baahubali 2, which earned Rs 511 crore in its lifetime. It will be interesting to see what the movie manages to establish next because there is no stopping now, and even the small drops will be covered when the movie enters another weekend.

Pushpa 2 Worldwide Box Office Update

Pushpa 2 while having the privilege to release on a Wednesday, has had no holiday in the first entire week of its release. The only Sunday it got was a massive one; other than that, the movie was released on a complete non-holiday window. And even with that challenge, Pushpa 2 has proven itself to be a clear winner of the box office war of 2024. The movie, as per Sacnilk, has now broken another record worldwide, and that too in the first week of its release. The film has become the fastest Indian movie to have grossed Rs 1000 crore at the world box office. This means the movie has already crossed the biggest milestone that films look at, and now beyond this, it is competing with itself mostly.

Pushpa 2 directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and an ensemble that recurs from the first film. The storyline takes place sometime after the events of the first film, and we meet a now happily married Pushpa, who still continues to have Shekhawat as a lingering threat around him. The story moves on to the fact that Pushpa still doesn't have a family name behind him, and it goes on to establish that. Anything more than this will be a spoiler.
