Pushpa 2 day 14 box office collection: Allu Arjun's arrest has not hindered the star's film from creating smashing records to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
As Pushpa 2 nears two weeks of its release, the film is on the steadfast path to collecting Rs 1000 crore with its nationwide collection. The Allu Arjun-starrer film has collected Rs 954 crore so far in India and soon will enter the prestigious Rs 1000-crore club with just the local box office collection.
It looks like there is no stopping for Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2, with the film smashing all the box office records and nearing the Rs 1000-crore mark at the domestic box office in India. The film has already zoomed past the mark in its worldwide collection and has crossed Rs 1200 crore within 10 days of its release. It is now on the path to collect Rs 1500 crore worldwide.
Pushpa 2 was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Allu Arjun film enjoyed a solo release across India, and the coming weeks will be crucial given films like Mufasa: The Lion King, Viduthalai- Part 2 and Baby John will be hitting theatres. However, Pushpa 2. Having said that, there is no doubt that Pushpa 2 has dethroned most films to become the highest-grosser this year.
Directed by Sukumar, and featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. A third part is in the works, titled Pushpa: The Rampage.
It is to be noted that Pushpa 2 was in the news after the lead actor, Allu Arjun was arrested and held in custody in jail overnight, in relation to the stampede case that occurred in Sandhya Theatre. A woman died at the stampede during the premiere of the film at the premises where Allu Arjun had visited.
Despite security in place, the tragedy occurred which resulted in Allu Arjun’s arrest and subsequent release on bail. Nevertheless, the box office did not show signs of slowing down, with Pushpa 2 continuing to mint big numbers.
