The mainstream headlines remain dominated by the drama surrounding Pushpa 2: The Rule. From its box office collections surpassing ₹1000 crore to Allu Arjun’s brief arrest, custody, and same-day bail, the frenzy shows no signs of abating. Amidst all the buzz, the film's incredible momentum at the box office continues unabated. Remarkably, day nine's collections are similar to day eight, further cementing its status as a blockbuster.

On its ninth day, Pushpa 2 crossed the ₹750 crore mark at the domestic box office and is now targeting ₹800 crore as it enters its second weekend. The film is edging closer to Baahubali 2's monumental records and seems poised to surpass them soon.

Pushpa 2: The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and a stellar ensemble cast. As one of the most anticipated films of the year, the movie delivered on its hype, enthralling audiences. Within just seven days of release, it became the highest-grossing film of 2024, setting its sights on challenging Baahubali: The Conclusion—the second-highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Now, it is inching closer to this milestone.

As per trade website Sacnilk Pushpa 2 saw a minimal and expected drop in earnings, which is likely to recover during the second weekend. The film earned an estimated ₹36.3 crore on day nine in India, with the Hindi version contributing ₹27 crore. The Telugu version brought in ₹7.5 crore, followed by ₹1.4 crore from Tamil, and ₹0.2 crore each from Malayalam and Kannada. This brings the total domestic collection to an estimated ₹762.1 crore (India net).
