The Allu Arjun starrer, which opened exactly a week ago with paid previews on Wednesday, has turned out to be a juggernaut at the box office. It continues to break records and stands as one of the most powerful performers in Indian cinema. The collections of Pushpa 2 need to be dissected and studied, as the movie has achieved unprecedented success in the most surprising ways. At the Indian box office, Pushpa 2 has consistently delivered strong numbers. On Wednesday, despite being a weekday, the film witnessed an 18.53% drop in collections and earned ₹42 crore. On Day 6, it had earned ₹52.50 crore. However, the numbers are expected to spike as the movie heads into its second weekend, especially since there is no significant competition until December 25, when Varun Dhawan and Atlee’s Baby John releases.

Pushpa 2 directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and a recurring ensemble cast from the first film. The storyline takes place sometime after the events of the first installment, introducing us to a now happily married Pushpa, who still faces a lingering threat from Shekhawat.
