Pushpa 2 box office collection day 11: Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie is fast approaching the Rs 1000 crore mark in India.
Pushpa 2 worldwide box office collection day 11
Pushpa 2 box office collection day 11: The dominance of Pushpa 2: The Rule at the box office is astonishing, as the movie continues to wreak havoc with no signs of slowing down. It faces competition this week when Mufasa: The Lion King and Baby John hit the big screen, but until then, Pushpa 2 shows no intention of stepping back. The movie now stands just a few crores away from ₹900 crore in India, suggesting that ₹1,000 crore domestically is well within reach.
That’s right. By the end of its eleventh day at the Indian box office, Pushpa 2 earned ₹72.15 crore. When midweek collections dropped to ₹30 crore, many anticipated a significant decline, only for the film to bounce back over the weekend. With a total collection of ₹897.65 crore so far, the film is now just a step away from ₹900 crore and advancing rapidly toward ₹1,000 crore in India alone.
A breakdown of the ₹897.65 crore collection reveals that the Hindi market is the largest contributor. The Hindi dub has become the most successful in the country, earning ₹553.1 crore, followed by Telugu with an estimated ₹279.35 crore.
RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and a star-studded ensemble, was the biggest film of 2022 and arguably one of the decade’s biggest releases. The movie not only won an Oscar for Best Song (Naatu Naatu) but also broke numerous records during its theatrical run, collecting ₹782.2 crore in India and ₹1,230 crore worldwide net (₹1,300 crore gross). While this remains an impressive benchmark, Pushpa 2 has now surpassed the Rajamouli epic.
According to Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 had already earned close to ₹1,200 crore worldwide by day 10. While day 11’s worldwide figures are still awaited, its domestic total stands at ₹897.65 crore.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and an ensemble cast reprising roles from the first film. The story picks up after the events of the first installment, showing a now happily married Pushpa, still threatened by Shekhawat. The narrative also touches on Pushpa’s lack of a family name and delves deeper into his journey. Sharing more would spoil the plot.
