Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun interacted with the media after walking out of jail. The actor was arrested over the Hyderabad stampede that left a 35-year-old woman dead during the film screening.

Amid the roaring success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun has been arrested over the Hyderabad stampede that left a 35-year-old woman dead and her son critical in a stampede during the film's premiere in a theatre. However, the actor was released on bail from the Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning (December 14) after being detained overnight. A video shows Allu interacting with the media and hugging his family members after walking out of jail.

A video on Instagram shows Allu Arjun reaching his home in Jubilee Hills as he walked out of jail on Saturday, December 14. He was seen folding his hands and smiling as he interacted with the media. The actor was seen wearing the same customized Pushpa 2 hoodie. Another video also showed the actor hugging his family members after getting released on bail from jail. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by brother Allu Sirish. Allu's wife Sneha Reddy, their son Ayaan and daughter Arha ran to him and hugged passionately.

'I am law-abiding person,' says Allu Arjun

After walking out of jail, Allu spoke to the media. He said that he is safe, and doing well.

"I am fine and there is nothing to worry. I would also like to tell that I am law-abiding citizen, and will cooperate with them. Will do the needful. Very importantly I would like to give my condolences to the family. It is very, very unfortunate. We went to watch a film and there was an accident. It was totally unfortunate. We are always very sorry for whatever genuinely has happened," he added.

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil among others. The film has been doing amazingly at the box office.
