Paramjit Khaneja's Sali vs Gharwali has released on Shemaroo Punjabi's YouTube channel. The short film started streaming from July 23.

Paramjit has not only acted in the movie but also written and produced it. The actor has co-produced the movie along with Shaukat Parekh.

The short film has been directed by Khushboo Sharma. She has also written the dialogue and screenplay for the film.

Prerik Sharma is the DOP for the project while Gurmeet Ludhar is the editor. Ultimate Jyoti worked on the makeup of the artists while Devi Sharma Team has presented the film. Gurmeet Ludhar, on the other hand, edited the short film.

Apart from Paramjit, the comedy movie also stars Sonal Khatri, Sapna Brar, Shivamdeep Gill, Bhala Amli, Gurnaib Sajjan, Dr . Chait Singh and Kirpal Maahna in pivotal roles.

The dubbing for the film took place in Logic Studio.

The film is a hilarious story of a husband and wife who can barely tolerate each other. After a misunderstanding, the film takes a heartwarming turn when the two decide to understand each other better thanks to a third person's involvement. Even with the emotional angle, there is never a dull moment in the series for laughs are guaranteed even in the most serious moments in the short film.

The Punjabi film industry is facing a tough time surviving after the COVID-19 wave. While the industry released limited films on OTT anyway, it has not yet released full-fledged films in the year 2021. Sali vs Gharwali also happens to be a short film which was getting delayed in release owing to the worsening condition in India.
