Project K has been in the news ever since the film went on the floors. Well, the science fiction drama is being directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame and has Prabhas playing the main lead along with Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles.

The other day, the makers revealed that none other than Kamal Haasan will be seen in a key role in this film and this inclusion of the star made Project K a hot cake in the film circles. Kamal loved his role and gave the nod right away to Nag Ashwin is the news from the team.

Well, we at OTTplay have exclusively learned that Kamal Haasan has been paid a whopping Rs 20 crores as his fee. This is big money considering the small role that Kamal Haasan is doing. But as his presence will do a world of good to the film business-wise, the makers did not hesitate one bit to pay the superstar the money as he is totally worth it.

Project K is the biggest film to come out of India casting-wise as this is the first time that stars of such magnitude are working on a film. Ashwini Dutt is producing this film on a budget of 600 crores as per the news. A chuck of budget is being allocated for the remunerations of Project K but the makers are in no mood to slow down as they are super confident about the story and talent of Nag Ashwin who have a classic like Mahanati.

Project K has music by Santosh Narayan and is an action drama that will be heavy on VFX. The film will hit the screens on January 12, 2024. We need to see if this film comes out on the said date or not. For now, the big fat fee of Kamal Haasan has become a hot topic of discussion all over. Prabhas has banked heavily on this film as he feels that Project K will take his popularity to an international level for sure.
