Jayam Ravi, who has N Kalyana Krishnan's Agilan and Mani Ratnam's most-anticipated Ponniyin Selvan in his kitty, will begin shooting for Rajesh's untitled movie after he completes his ongoing commitments. Keerthy Suresh was said to be playing the female lead in the film. But we now hear that Priyanka Mohan is likely to bag the offer.

Rajesh, whose last outing was GV Prakash-starrer Vanakkamda Mappilei (streaming on Sun NXT), has been busy with a web series which has Hansika headlining it. Tipped as a robotic love story, the project titled MY3, was wrapped up a few days ago. It is expected to have a release on Disney+ Hotstar.

The director's last theatrical release was Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Mr Local (streaming on Jio Cinema) which released in 2019. The movie hit the headlines recently when Siva filed a legal complaint against Gnanavel Raja for delaying his pending remuneration.

Rajesh had plans to do a movie each with Santhanam and Jiiva, and the latter was keen on joining hands with the filmmaker for the third time. In an earlier chat with OTTplay, Rajesh said that the Siva Manasula Sakthi star was impressed with the storyline he narrated. But the project didn't take off due to reasons best known to them.

All eyes are now on the Jayam Ravi-starrer; an official announcement on the same is awaited, though. The actor's last release Bhoomi (Disney+ Hotstar) marked his OTT debut. If everything goes well, he will have two theatrical releases this year.

On the other hand, Priyanka Mohan, who was last seen in Doctor along with Sivakarthikeyan, has teamed up again with the latter for Don which is her next release. She is also said to be joining Nelson-Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 169 which is set to go on floors after June.
