Priyanka Chopra recalls working on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Don: 'Important to focus on craft, not your relationships with...'

Priyanka Chopra opened up about the key lessons she learned while working on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Don. The film was directed by Farhan Akhtar.

Don is one of the most successful films of Priyanka Chopra's career. The actress played the role of Roma in Farhan Akhtar's film. She shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the 2006 film. Recently when Priyanka attended the Red Sea International Film Festival, the actress reflected on working in Don. Chopra revealed how she prepped for her character and shared the key lessons she learned.

During a media interaction, Priyanka Chopra opened up about the prep she did for the action sequences in Don. The actress said, "I took Tai Chi classes and worked really hard to perfect it because I wanted to do it right. A lot of training went into the action sequences in Don, and I tasted blood a little bit. I look really good with a weapon in my hand defending my country; what can I say?"

The actress further revealed some key lessons she learned during the shoot. Priyanka emphasized on giving importance to craft over equation with the director or co-stars.

"By the time I came to Don, I had realised that the most important thing to focus on is my craft, not your relationships with your director, co-actors, not how you behave on set, but what you do between action and cut," added Chopra.

Following the massive success of Don, Priyanka reprised her character in the sequel, Don 2. The film, starring SRK in the lead role, hit the big screen in 2011. The third installment of Don is currently in works with Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani as lead actors.

On the work front, Priyanka has a couple of exciting projects lined up. The actress will be seen in The Bluff and Heads of State. Besides these films, the actress will be back with the second season of Amazon Prime Video's Citadel. Chopra played the role of Nadia in the first season of Russo Brothers' series.
