The star is currently awaiting the release of his directorial Bro Daddy starring Mohanlal
Prithviraj Sukumaran made history in the Malayalam box office with his debut directorial Lucifer starring Mohanlal, with the movie going on to be the highest grossing Malayalam movie.
The latest reports suggest that the superstar will next helm a Hindi web series based on the life of India's Biscuit King Rajan Pillai. The actor will also star in the web series as Rajan Pillai as reported by Indian Express.
Saregama's Yoodle has acquired the rights for the web series, which will discuss the life, rise and fall of the business tycoon.
Prithviraj made his foray into filmmaking in 2019 with Lucifer which was written by Murali Gopi and had massive hype leading up to its release. The Mohanlal starrer not only satisfied the audience, but became an industry hit.
The actor also helmed Bro Daddy his second directorial, which also stars Mohanlal and is a comedy entertainer. The movie has finished filming and is awaiting a release date.
On the work front, Prithviraj is on the sets of Shaji Kailas’ Kaduva which according to reports is nearing an end of production. The movie is the director’s work after the 2017 Tamil thriller Vaigai Express.
Prithviraj’s production banner is also presenting the Malayalam version of the much-awaited film 83. The movie is based on the iconic 1983 cricket triumph of the country and stars Ranvir Singh in the lead.
The movie, which is coming out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, will release on December 24.
