Prithviraj Sukumaran made a comeback to the Telugu film industry with the recently released pan-Indian film Salaar. The Prashanth Neel directorial, which stars Prabhas in the lead role, features the multi-faceted talent in the role of Vararadaraja Mannaar, the future king of the Khansaar dynasty. The actor-director has been receiving a lot of love from audiences across industries for his stellar performance, unmatched screen presence, and extraordinary dialogue delivery.

Mammootty

The veteran actor has been a part of some of the iconic films in other languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and English. Mammootty played the character Deva, which is adapted from Duryodana of the Mahabharata, in Mani Ratnam’s 1991-released Rajinikanth starrer, Thalapathi. He also appeared in many notable Tamil and Telugu films over the years, including Mounam Sammatham, Aanandam, Peranbu, Yatra, and much more. Mammootty won his third National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, in Jabbar Patel’s 2000-released Hindi-English bilingual.

Mohanlal

The superstar stunned audiences with his performance as Anandan, the character inspired by the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran, in Mani Ratnam’s 1997 cult classic film Iruvar. Mohanlal later entered the Hindi film industry with Ram Gopal Varma’s 2002 gangster film Company, which featured him in the role of a South Indian police officer. The actor’s list of other language films includes several notable outings like Unnaipol Oruvan, Jilla, Janatha Garage, Aag, and others.

Jayaram

Along with focusing on his acting career in the South Indian film industry, Dulquer Salmaan also made his digital series debut with the Netflix show Guns and Gulaabs, which is helmed by Raj and DK. The actor’s fluency in all major Indian languages and pan-Indian appeal have surely made him a favourite of both filmmakers and audiences.
