Meanwhile, the third episode of Invincible's second season concludes with a shocking revelation: Mark learns that his father has been residing on the extraterrestrial planet Thraxa. Mark has made it his home ever since the events of the first season finale of Invincible, and he has even expanded his family by adopting Oliver, a younger brother. Mark agrees to help Nolan defend his new family from the Viltrumites when Nolan explains that he needs Mark's assistance in this battle.
They fought valiantly despite their disagreements, but ultimately lost. The Viltrumites kidnap Nolan and abduct him. Another Viltrumite then has a little conversation with Mark. After imprisoning Nolan, they explained to Mark that the mission to conquer Earth was now his responsibility. Because of this, Invincible must eliminate all Earth defenders, including his companions, in order to make the planet ready for invasion by the Viltrum Empire. Mark faces serious repercussions if he opts out.
Season 2 of Invincible focuses on King Mauler (Kevin Michael Richardson) after the credits roll, and he reveals to his counterpart that he is not the clone and poisons him. The Prime Video series has a lot to offer, including Debbie's ongoing struggle with Nolan's betrayal and Donald's quest to unravel his strange past.
