The shooting of the movie is expected to commence from February 10,
Premgi, Sivakarthikeyan and Sathyaraj
Even as the uncertainty regarding the changed release date of Sivakarthikeyan's Don continues, the actor is all set to join the shooting of his next, which will be directed by Tollywood filmmaker Anudeep. The bilingual flick will have SS Thaman composing music for the first time for Siva's film.
The Tamil-Telugu project is said to have Siva playing a tourist guide in it. Tentatively titled SK 20, its shooting is expected to happen in Puducherry, London, Chennai and Hyderabad. It is heard that two female leads will be seen in the project, among which one of them will be roped in from abroad.
Though the makers haven't announced any other details pertaining to the project's cast and crew, the latest buzz is that Premgi and Sathyaraj have been brought on board to play crucial characters in it. SK 20 will go on floors in Karaikudi from February 10, and Premgi is likely to join in a few days.
The movie will be produced by Suresh Daggubati's Suresh Productions, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Narayan Das K Narang of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies.
Earlier, Thaman had posted a few pictures of himself, Sivakarthikeyan, Anudeep and Naveen Polishetty, during a get together in the composer's studio. SK 20 marks Anudeep's sophomore film. His debut flick, Jathi Ratnalu, (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was one of the biggest blockbusters of Tollywood in 2021.
Billed as a fun-filled entertainer, the announcement of SK 20 was made in the first week of January. Though Sivakarthikeyan's movies have dubbed and released in Telugu earlier, this is his first bilingual movie. He currently has Ravikumar's Ayalaan and Rajkumar Periyasamy's SK 21 in his kitty.
