Premalu OTT release date – The Girish AD directorial, which had its global theatrical release on February 9, 2024 emerged as one of the all-time highest grossing films of Malayalam cinema. Premalu, which features young actors Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, is now gearing up for its OTT release. As per the recent updates, the romantic comedy has been slated to be released on Disney+ Hotstar, by the second weekend of April 2024.

If the reports are to be believed, Premalu will get its OTT release on April 12, 2024, Friday, coinciding with the Vishu weekend. Reportedly, Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s blockbuster film, which is releasing on Disney+ Hotstar will stream in three languages including Malayalam and Tamil from midnight on April 12. The makers of the romantic comedy, and the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar officially announced the OTT release date with a social media post, recently.

Premalu’s box office success
As you may know, the Naslen-Mamitha Baiju starrer has now emerged as one of the most profitable films ever produced in the Malayalam film industry. The movie, which was made with a budget of around Rs. 8 crore, is reportedly set to enter the Rs. 130 crore club of Malayalam cinema with its lifetime box office collections. Even though the makers were expecting Premalu to make big at the box office, a success of this magnitude was totally unexpected.
