Premalu box office collection – The Girish AD directorial, which was released on February 9, 2024, has now emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of Malayalam cinema in recent times. The movie, which features Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, has been receiving immense love from the audience across the globe. Now, when it completed the first 45 days of its release, Premalu has crossed the prestigious Rs 125-crore mark at the worldwide box office.
As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Premalu has now crossed the Rs 125-crore mark at the box office, as it completed the first 45 days of its theatrical release. Thus, Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s romantic comedy has emerged as one of the most profitable films ever produced by the Malayalam film industry. Notably, the Girish AD directorial was made with a total budget of around Rs 9 crore, which also includes the marketing and publicity costs.
The romantic comedy now stands at the Rs 58-crore mark at the Kerala box office, when it completed the first 45 days of its release. The Tamil Nadu collection of the Girish AD directorial has now crossed Rs. 7.5 crore. The movie has made a total collection of Rs 5.3 crore from Karnataka so far, and around Rs 12 crore from the Telugu states together. The collection from other Indian states stands at Rs 1.1 crore.

In that case, the total Rest of India collection has now touched Rs. 25.90 crore (including all language versions). When it comes to the overseas box office, Premalu has made a total collection of around Rs 42 crore, so far. If things proceed at the same rate, the romantic comedy, produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran, has all the chances to touch the Rs 130-crore mark at the worldwide box office, within its lifetime run at the theatres.
