Premalu, the romantic comedy that stars Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, has made an excellent collection on its first Monday at the box office.
Premalu, the romantic comedy which features young actors Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, has already earned super hit status at the box office. The Girish AD directorial, which was released without massive pre-release hype has been receiving excellent reviews from both audiences and critics. The word-of-mouth publicity has clearly helped the movie to perform extremely well at the box office.
When Premalu completed the first 4 days of its release, the movie has crossed the Rs. 7.5 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s film has thus successfully passed the first Monday test and has proved that it is going to stay at the theatres for a long time.
As per the recent updates, the romantic comedy has made a total worldwide collection of Rs. 7.5 crore, just from the first 4 days of its release. Interestingly, Premalu has succeeded in performing extremely well on its first Monday at the box office and has made a total collection of around Rs. 1.8 on Day 4, alone. It is undoubtedly a major achievement for the Girish AD directorial, which was made on a moderate budget, and has not big names in its star cast.
If things proceed at the same rate, Premalu has all the possibilities to cross the Rs. 10 crore mark at the worldwide box office, just within the next couple of days. The Naslen-Mamitha Baiju starrer is expected to perform even better on February 14, 2024, on the special occasion of Valentine’s Day. In that case, the movie might even cross the Rs. 12 crore mark at the worldwide box office, within the first week of its release.
