Prema Vimanam is released in two languages: Telugu and Tamil.

The film revolves around two enthusiastic kids who’re desperate to board an aeroplane despite their poor financial situation. They cross paths with a couple in their late teens, Mani and Abitha, who try to rise above their socio-economic barriers and elope from their village. The supporting cast of the film comprises Ravi Varma, Abhai Naveen, Goparaju Ramana and Surabhi Prabhavathi.

Anup Rubens composed the music for the film. Despite Prema Vimanam being his first film and telling a fairly predictable story, director Santosh Kata displayed enough maturity in the writing, exhibiting a knack for humour and extracting fine performances from the lead cast. The makers of Prema Vimanam are next coming up with Devil, a periodic action thriller starring Kalyan Ram and Samyuktha.
