Directed by Murthy Devagupthapu, Prathinidhi 2 is a political thriller that stars Nara Rohit in the lead role
Telugu actor Nara Rohith saw his biggest hit with Prathinidhi in 2014. He is now set to bring back the political thriller in its sequel. The makers of Prathinidhi 2 have just released the teaser for the film and it is right in time to cash in on the election mood. The new teaser, which was released by Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi, features Nara Rohith in a completely new look.
The film is about a politician who is on a mission to take down other corrupt politicians. The teaser ends with a powerful monologue, calling upon the citizens of India to take an informed decision when choosing their leaders.

Nara Rohit is the nephew of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He’s the son of his brother, Nara Ramamurthy Naidu. Nara Rohith, who rose to fame with the movie Baanam, has consistently surprised audiences with his unique choices like Prathindhi, Jyo Achyutananda, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, Solo, Asura and Samanthakamani. He took a brief break from films for personal reasons and is back in action with the sequel to one of his most critically acclaimed films, Prathindhi.
Prathinidhi 2 will mark the directorial debut of noted television journalist Murthy Devagupthapu. The film was initially planned to be released in theatres on January 25, 2024, to coincide with Republic Day weekend. However, the release has been pushed to April, during election time.
Prathinidhi 2 is Rohith's 19th film. The actor was last seen in Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu and Aatagallu; both films were released in 2018. With the Prathinidhi sequel releasing after 10 years, fans cannot wait to see how the actor will adapt to the ever-changing industry and make the most of the current election buzz.
