Prashanth Neel met Vijay Deverakonda the other day in Hyderabad and news about their collaboration has gone viral.
Vijay Deverakonda and Prashanth Neel
Prashanth Neel is one of the top directors in Indian cinema as of now. Post the success of Salaar Part 1, all eyes are on the second part of the Prabhas-starrer. Apart from this film, Neel will also direct Jr NTR in a massive action drama that will go on floors by the end of this year.
Now, the latest update in the film circles is that Neel met happening hero Vijay Deverakonda at his Film Nagar residence in Hyderabad the other day. Ever since this happened, reports have surfaced that there will be a possible collaboration between the two.
Though a source close to the actor says it was a very casual dinner, reports claim that Prashanth Neel has met Vijay Deverakonda to offer him a role. Now, the big question is - is it Salaar 2 that already has Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and is it his other project with Jr NTR?

So, in which project Neel will cast Vijay has become a massive discussion in the film circles. Some say that it will be a new film that the two will join forces in the days to come. There is no confirmation about the project that they will do, but the special dinner meeting has created waves in the industry.
Vijay Deverakonda is lying low with the massive failure of his last film Family Star. The family drama was rejected by the audience on day one itself, and the film did not even make at least Rs 15 crore bringing massive losses to the producer Dil Raju. So, it would be great for Vijay Deverakonda if he teams up with Prashanth Neel. Let's see what happens in the days to come.
On the other hand, the shooting of the second part will kick start soon when Prabhas wraps up his part in his upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD, which is being directed by Nag Ashwin. Watch this space for more updates.
