Prasanna, Regina Cassandra's Zee5 original web series Fingertip Season 2 clocks 100 million streaming minutes

The second instalment of Fingertip, titled Fingertip Season 2, was dropped on Zee5 on June 17. Starring Prasanna in the lead, the series revolves around six people who are connected by a series of bizarre incidents which happen in Chennai city. Regina Cassandra, Aparna Balamurali, Vinoth Kishan, Sharath Ravi and Kanna Ravi essay significant characters in the project which has been directed by Shivakar Srinivasan.

The investigative thriller which touches upon the myriad dangers lurking in the digital world, opened to decent reviews from critics and viewers alike. Its screenplay and performances from actors are a couple of aspects which received positive response.

Zee5 has now announced that the series has clocked 100 million minutes on the platform after two weeks of its release. The actors of the project have been taking to Twitter to express happiness on the same, and thanking viewers for their support. A few celebs from Tamil and Telugu, too, expressed liking for the series.

The makers have been releasing back-to-back promo videos of Fingertip Season 2 ever since it was released on Zee5. The first instalment of the series was dropped on the platform in 2019. Though it had Shivakar at the helm, the actors in it were completely different.

Fingertip Season 2 is the second project of Prasanna to drop on Zee5. He was earlier seen in Thiravam which was released in 2019. Similarly, the series is the second OTT project of Regina to release after Rocket Boys which was dropped on SonyLIV earlier this year.

The actress is on a roll this year as her third web series, Anya's Tutorial, was released on aha a few days ago. Up next for her is Shoorveer which will drop on Disney+ Hotstar this month. She also has the much-awaited Farzi which will release on Amazon Prime Video soon.
