The yet-to-be-titled movie, which also has Neeta Pillai, went on floors in January
Director Ratheesh Reghunandan’s big budget entertainer, starring Dileep, Pranitha Subhash and Neeta Pillai, wrapped up its first schedule after almost two months of shoot. The film, which went on floors in January in Kottayam, completed its initial schedule last week.
The movie had a 40-day schedule in Kottayam and Kuttikanam. As per sources, the next schedule of the yet-to-be-titled film is set to begin in Kattapana and will also be lengthy, with the stars allotting as many as 50 days to shoot the remaining portions. The second schedule will also have a different time-period setting than the first.

The film, which is scripted and helmed by Udal director, also has Ajmal Amir, Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Santhosh Keezhatoor, Sivakami and Mukta. Tamil actors John Vijay and Sampath Ram are also part of the cast, and had shot a few sequences in the film’s recently-concluded schedule that also had locations in Erattupetta, Poonjar, Kanjirapally, Peermad and Kuttikal.
The big-budget film, which is produced by Super Good Films and Ifftaar Media, also has several action set pieces and the team has roped in four stunt directors – Rajashekharan, Stunt Silva, Mafia Sasi and Supreme Sundar – to choreograph the fight scenes.
The second schedule of the movie will also have a massive set piece erected in Kattapana over an area of two acres for a stunt sequence, according to reports. The scene will have close to 1,000 junior artistes as part of it and the team is planning to shoot crucial portions over a period of 15 days at this set, as per sources from the team.
Several other actors who were not involved in the first schedule of the movie will also be part of the filming in Idukki. Meanwhile, Dileep has also wrapped up shooting for Voice of Sathyanathan and has a few portions remaining in Arun Gopy’s Bandra, which marks Tamannaah Bhatia’s Malayalam debut.
