Prabhu Deva is signing films left right and centre like never before. As an actor, he has a few movies lined up. While some of them are in its post production stage, a few are ready for release. Now, the motion poster of his next project has been unveiled along with its title.
Titled My Dear Bootham the fantasy thrilled, which is aimed at children, has been directed by N Ragavan, known for movies like Manja Pai (streaming on Zee5) and Kadamban. Vijay Sethupathi released the motion poster of the project, produced by Ramesh Pillai of Abhishek Films.
He tweeted, "Happy to share #MyDearBootham motion poster. Congrats @PDdancing master @Abhishek_films_ #RameshPPillai sir & team (sic)." The film marks the reunion of Prabhu Deva and Ramya Nambeesan after Karthik Subbaraj's Mercury (streaming on Zee5).
Prabhu plays a genie in the movie which has music by D Imman, cinematography by UK Senthil Kumar and editing by San Lokesh. GN Murugan has composed action scenes for the film which has dance choreography by Sridhar. The movie, according to the makers, will have ample dose of comedy and emotional moments.
Child actors like Ashwanth, Alia, and Param Guganesh will play pivotal roles in the project in which Prabhu Deva's character is said to be the highlight. Imman Annachi, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan and Samyuktha among others will be seen essaying notable characters in the movie.
Prabhu Deva's last release was Pon Manickavel which had a direct OTT premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. His action flick Theal, which was supposed to hit the screens on December 10, has been postponed owing to unforeseen financial issues.
