Potluck is a comedy family drama that will premiere on SonyLIV,
A few weeks ago, SonyLIV released the trailer of its new comedy family drama series Potluck that revolves around a family reunion. Here's all we know about the series so far.
What is the series about?
‘Potluck’ means two entirely different things. One is a gathering of close members or family for dinner where each of them contributes, i.e comes with dishes prepared separately on their own. The other is simply making the best even in the harshest times with minimal resources. Given the family theme of the series, we could safely assume that the makers are going for the first definition.

The trailer also depicts a large family of siblings who gather together. All of them have struggles of their own. The father, who regrets spending so little time with his children during their childhood, is trying to make up for the time lost while the mother puts up with his silly demands and antics. The now grown-up siblings struggle in their professional as well as family lives.

Jatin Sial plays Govind Shastri, the retired father who has a “wonderful” idea for a family reunion, and Kitu Gidwani plays Pramila Shastri, the exasperated and easily irritated mother. The other familiar faces in the series include Shikha Talsania, Cyrus Sahukar, Ira Dubey, Harman Singha, Saloni Khanna and Siddhant Karnick.
A Triplecom Media, Loose Cannons Content Studio & Vial Content presentation, Potluck is Produced by Kunal Das Gupta, Pavneet Gakhal, Gaurav Lulla, Vivek Gupta. It is directed by Rajshree Ojha and written by Ashwin Lakshmi Narayan, Bharat Misra, and Gaurav Lulla.
